Powder coating is a strong industrial strength coating. The main difference between powder and paint is that power DOES NOT rely on the use of solvents to keep the binder and filler in a liquid suspension. The powder is applied elsectrostaticly to any metal piece. The charged particles are attracted to the 'grounded' metal and wrap around edges and corners. The piece is then cured in a high temperature convection oven.
